Description
Original, still sealed copy of The Thin White Duke, the double-LP radio broadcast from Nassau Coliseum, NY of David Bowie’s 1976. This is a great recording of one of Bowie’s best performances ever. He’s in fine voice and has a great band behind him.
This is a Vicky Vinyl album. The unique cover is the result of her discovering that some record plants offered “stock covers” such as this, where they’d print your info in the blank spaces, as a way of offering color covers to customers at a cheap price. You can probably find this same cover adorning albums by high school marching bands. (She used another stock cover, of clowns at a birthday party, for a Ramones album.)
There are a couple of small creases in the cover, and a couple of the corners are slightly dented, but it is still pretty much as new as it was back when it was released
Kornyfone not included. This is a never-opened, sealed record from the Beggar’s Banquet collection, Anaheim’s long-gone “Underground” record store, boxed away for decades. No reserve. I’ve described the item as best I can, and it is sold as-is, returns, refunds or adjustments at my discretion. Please check my altogether friendly feedback. I strive for fairness.
