This is VERY RARE (unofficial release) LP, David Bowie's "Ziggy 2". It notes on the front that the "first nine songs on this album were recorded for the BBC "In Concert" radio show in 1971 (sometime between the release of THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH and HUNKY DORY). The final song is a jam with Marc Bolan taken from Marc's own TV show "MARC", it was recorded only days before his tragic death" in 1977. Now, if that's true, "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars" came out in 1972, so these would be LIVE PRE-Ziggy Stardust" recordings, but the only "Ziggy" song on here is "It Aint Easy", more here is from his "Hunky Dory" LP ("Andy Warhol", "Song For Bob Dylan", "Kooks", "Queen Bitch"), and "The Man Who Sold The World" ("Supermen"). "Queen Bitch" was initially written for "Ziggy", but never made it, though it was released as a B-Side to "1984" and "Rebel Rebel". Many of these can now be found on the "Bowie At The Beeb" box set. The cover here is still nice and clean, with NO RING WEAR, NO SPLITTING, and just some minor corner bumping. There is nothing written on the spine. The vinyl is very clean and shiny, good colors, little sign of play. This is a very hard to find Bowie LP, but we've got it! You can too!
