Description

Very nice, very rare, and I am sure the only one in existence!

7" Vinyl Acetate of two of David Bowie's classic album tracks, and two of his longest as well!

'Width of A Circle' b/w 'Cygnet Committee'

From albums 'The Man Who Sold The World' (1971) and 'Space Oddity' (originally 'David Bowie') (1969)

Abridged versions for this release, but not by much.

'Width' knocks off 50 seconds of the intro, starting with the vocals, and 60 seconds of the end of the original

'Cygnet' knocks off 30 seconds of the intro, starting with the vocals, but runs the whole course (9 minutes!)

Purchased from a respected London dealer many years ago for a lot of money (obviously!)

It came originally from a Record Company employee in South Africa

I am happy with its origins and it is an esoteric, specialist item and a must-have if you are a big Bowie fan

Only plain black vinyl acetate, no labels

White sleeve has track information and record speed (see scan)

Vinyl in superb condition, and it plays very nicely (only did it once!)

Don't know any production date details, although sleeve says 07/78, but tracks are originally from 1969/1970
