WELCOME TO MY AUCTION, TIME TO LIST SOME MORE EXCELLENT RECORDS SO KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR MY OTHER LISTINGS.
I HAVE BEEN A VINYL COLLECTOR SINCE 1970 AND HAVE ABOUT 3,000 ALBUMS, ALL ARE WELL LOOKED AFTER AND LOVINGLY PLAYED.
HOWEVER I'M NOW RUNNING OUT OF ROOM IN THE HOUSE SO TIME TO LIST SOME OF MY DUPLICATE COPIES OR ONES I RARELY PLAY. THEY HAVE ALL BEEN STORED IN RECORD BOXES SINCE PURCHASE, SOME IN POLYTHENE OUTER SLEEVES AND AWAY FROM HEAT AND SUNLIGHT.
ALL MY LISTED RECORDS ARE FULLY PLAY GRADED ON A HIGH END SYSTEM THROUGH HEADPHONES ON LOUD VOLUME AS WELL, SO PLEASE BID IN CONFIDENCE. I NEVER BUY RECORDS FROM EBAY ON VISUAL GRADINGS ALONE SO WHY SHOULD YOU! GRADED USING THE RECORD COLLECTORS GUIDE 2014.

DAVID BOWIE, YOUNG AMERICANS 1975 UK VINYL LP FIRST PRESS? ORIGINAL RCA ORANGE LABELS WITH A-2E B-2E MATRIX, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION THROUGHOUT. EXCELLENT LOUD CUT AUDIO WITH EXCELLENT SLEEVE! PLAYED A FEW TIMES THEN STORED. ONLY SELLING AS I HAVE ANOTHER FIRST PRESS NEAR MINT COPY.

VINYL : Played just a few times then taped and stored till now, with a lovely sheen. Unfortunately there is one light feelable mark on the start of Young Americans (my brother's fault I seem to remember!) which gives 20 light background clicks. Just a few tiny light sleeve removals under a bright light. VISUALLY VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION DUE TO THE MARK.
SIDE 1 : Has the mark with clicks as mentioned, but the rest of side 1 plays through superbly with VERY LITTLE CRACKLE/DUST POPS AT ALL not even in the quiet parts. Near silence between tracks. Superbly clear loud cut sound, AUDIO JUST EXCELLENT CONDITION DUE TO THE MARK WITH CLICKS, REST OF THIS SIDE NEAR MINT.
SIDE 2 : No feelable marks or scratches, just a few light sleeve removals. Plays through lovely, again with VIRTUALLY NO CRACKLE/DUST POPS AT ALL. Near silence between tracks. Again with a clear loud cut sound. NEAR MINT CONDITION, SUPERB.
OVERALL AUDIO EXCELLENT CONDITION.
MATT RCA ORANGE LABELS : I can't see any spindle marks at all so carefully played just a couple of times from memory. No writing or marks. NEAR MINT CONDITION.
NON GATEFOLD SLEEVE : Printed in England by Robert Stace.
ALMOST LIKE NEW. Kept in a polythene sleeve since purchase so virtually no edge or corner wear. Just a tiny area of ringwear/record impression near the front/reverse top edge. The spine is totally crisp and legible with no wear. No tears or knifing splits to the edges caused by the record's edge. No writing or stains. The opening edge is totally crisp with no feathering, just one light scuff. Overall EXCELLENT CONDITION.
ORIGINAL POLYLINED INNER SLEEVE : Just some tiny browning age spots and a couple of creases. A couple of small rips near the centre, repaired with tape. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
I have also included a brand new anti-static polylined inner sleeve to protect the record after having cleaned the vinyl.
I WILL SEND TO THE USA/REST OF THE WORLD, TRACKABLE AIRMAIL IS £16.
SUMMARY : A SUPERB EXCELLENT CONDITION COPY OF THIS CLASSIC BOWIE ALBUM.
