Up for auction is a very nice original promo pressing of the David Bowie album Young Americans, originally released in the U.S. on RCA (APL1-0998) in 1975:
-Guaranteed original 1st pressing, not reissue -Original orange RCA labels -Original matte textured cover
-Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics
-Promotional embossed stamp on cover
-NOT record club pressing -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Note:
Most original pressings of Young Americans had the tan RCA labels, but some of the early promo pressings like this one had the older orange RCA label, and are very rare!
Original U.S. pressings of Young Americans have the APL1-0998 catalog number--most copies sold as "original" on ebay do not have this proper number--they are reissues.
Condition: Cover looks very nice, no ring wear on front or back, no significant signs of wear.  Corners are sharp, not bumped, chipped, just a hint of rub on a couple.  Seams are nice, intact, no splits.  Factory promo stamp upper right corner (see photo).  Super clean original.
Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-)

Vinyl also looks very nice, still has its original glossy shine.  Both sides look very clean, but under a strong light, perhaps some faint superficial signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a few times.  Very nice clean sound quality for an original pressing!  No marks around spindle holes.  Looks like this record has maybe been played only a couple times, if that, but handled with care. Grade: Excellent (EX)
