Of all the countries around the world that they pressed
David Bowie LP's in, no pressings are harder to find than
those pressed in South Africa. All the Bowie LP's pressed
in South Africa were pressed by the Teal record company.
Many of the sleeves and labels are totally different to the
rest of the world making them highly prized by the hardest
and most serious Bowie completest collectors.
To get your hands on an original South African pressing is
an extremely rare opportunity not to be missed.
So up for grabs is Young Americans South African LP from 1975
w/Semi-Laminated flip back sleeve. The sleeve is in Excellent condition
and has been well preserved for many years, with just minimal wear as
shown in the pictures. The spine is still legible, with just slight damage,
and still looks great. A very nice copy! There are no tears or writing,
so considering the rarity of this item, in great condition!
Also included is the one of the best looking Inner Sleeve's in all of the David Bowie collections!
This very cool black & white flip back Inner Sleeve has the song lyrics printed
on both sides, and is still in Excellent shape after all these years, with only minor seam
splits on the left and right sides, and that's it!
The record is in Excellent condition with a few sleeve marks and
feint hairlines on both sides, but plays all the way through on both sides
without skipping, jumps, or sticking. Sounds really great! The labels are
clean and free from any unwanted handwriting, a very nice thick slab
of vinyl from South Africa!
This is one of the best complete original LP copies of Young Americans
from South Africa w/Semi Laminated Flip-Back Sleeve and Inner Sleeve
that you will find up for grabs in long time!
Original Bowie LP's from South Africa rarely come up for bid,
and this is one you really don't want to miss! One of my favorites albums
by David Bowie, and from my personal collection!
