Description
DAVID BOWIE
THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS
Hard to find, 1st press LP, with Pic-Lyric inner. Glossy RCA labels, and matrix codes ending in 1E on both sides. Identifying features include Titanic Music publishing credit and no Mainman logo on the back of the sleeve/labels, which later issues have.
Year of Release: 1972 RCA Records SF 8287 Made in UK Matrix codes: Side 1: BGBS 0864 - 1E Side 2: BGBS 0865 - 1E
Condition:
Vinyl/Labels: VG+
There are a few very light hairlines, mainly visible under a harsh light. There is a very small "bleb" - probably a pressing fault, on Side 1, track 3, but this does not affect play at all. Plays to an Excellent standard and sounds great.
Sleeve/Pic-Lyric Inner: VG
The sleeve has ring wear and edge wear; the top seam has a small split at the centre. The pic-lyric inner is fully intact; it has light creasing and a few small stains, including a blob of blue ink on Bowie's chin - see pics.
