DAVID BOWIE promo LP/CD Ziggy Stardust RYKO w/photo & press kit gatefold cover
DETAILS: Took me a little while to figure this one out….LP in gatefold sleeve with CD edition in gatefold with 5 non LP tracks from the same era, includes black & white glossy photo, 3 press inserts including “ryko CD EXCHANGE” program offering free CD pressings in exchange for original RCA editions, press & review collection from original release era & RYKO david bowie reissue series info sheet. The LP is a replica repressing with mock RCA DYNAFLEX label & is included to compare the CD to, so it’s a repress of the standardly available RCA edition, NOT REMASTERED RYKO. The CD, unfortunately, must have been inserted in the poly sleeve in the gatefold before the ink had a chance to properly dry so half the printing is stuck to the inside of the envelope (see photo). It plays perfectly & is, to my knowledge, unplayed other than my confirmation play to make sure it actually does play.
SLEEVE: M- perfect, with PRESS KIT sticker & gold stamp on back cover (with no titles printed on back, so this design is exclusive to this edition)
DISC: M- looks unplayed, sample-test played to confirm edition. CD is most likely unplayed (see info above)
