Description
ATTENTION COLLECTORS OF DAVID BOWIE:
Over the next few weeks I will be auctioning a LOT of rare David Bowie vinyl pressings/promos/rarities – watch this space if you're a big fan, there are some serious items coming up.
We have here a UK very early press of the 1971 David Bowie LP 'The Man Who Sold The World'
WITH THE POSTER AND LYRIC INNER SLEEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On RCA (Victor) ref LSP 4816 (BPRS4513)
Run-off grooves BPRS 4513 L1 / BPRS 4513 L1
There were a few early versions of this, Phillips or Dress sleeve etc and its difficult to research – I do know only the earlier copies had a poster – Any additional info you may have, please feel free and let me know
Record grades as Near Mint – labels are clean, vinyl shines, just amazing for its age.
InnerSleeve is fragile material…but its just superb – will grade EX +
Poster is Mint
Outer Sleeve has a couple of hairline creases and appears to have had a small price tag tear – though this is also black so hard to spot – would say VG+ to be on the safe side
Beautiful copy – could be a while before you see the like again
Tracks as follows:
The Width of a Circle
All The Madmen
Black Country Rock
After All
Running Gun Blues
Saviour Machine
She shook me cold
The man who sold the world
The Supermen
Happy Bidding
Please Note
The stated P&P is based on UK prices, I am happy to post outside of the UK but will used Royal Mail International Signed for so rates vary – if in doubt please ask, the royal mail website may also give you an idea.
