PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Long-deleted, original EMI 2006 classic EU/UK issue 10-track LP pressed on Heavyweight Vinyl. The 3rd solo album from the Pink Floyd legend and his 1st since 1994s multi-platinum The Division Bell revealing a personal vision through a range of styles including folk jazz orchestral and rock brought together as a unified piece by his lyrical guitar playing and instantly recognisable voice. Presented in a deluxe/oversized pasted thick cardboard gatefold picture sleeve complete with original gloss printed inner sleeve plus extra anti-static bag and giant fold-out lyric poster. 

The set came unsealed by manufacturer. LP is in pristine condition since having never been played and stored in a smoke-free household. Gatefold sleeve which never opened in full is in mint condition with the exception of a very small wear in corners, most likely stemming from the shifting and sorting of the set in transit - from manufacturer to retailer to me. Inner sleeve and poster are both in pristine condition. A lovely looking package though!!!. See the images to the bottom of the page

Prices for this original 2006 EU mind of “DAVID GILMOUR – ON AN ISLAND” gatefold audiophile LP pressing continue to rise. It was pressed up in unknown small vinyl quantities, so it is only going to go up in value-great investment. To find this 6-years old LP is a special event, but to find it in such pristine condition, almost beggars belief. So do your research and ask the right question before you buy this.
