Description
On sale here is a fantastic NM copy of a David Gilmour recording entitled "THE COMPLETE SESSIONS". This is a very strictly limited release. A double album pressed on black vinyl. Please note. This was pressed as 500 copies. 400 were on coloured vinyl and only 100 on black vinyl. I think we all know how coloured vinyl often produces some dodgy recordings and that black vinyl is the surest way of ensuring a decent quality recording.
This particular copy is still in its original shrinkwrap. Opened carefully at the leading edge to remove the discs. I have played this copy just once, for recording purposes. The gatefold cover has never been out of the shrinkwrap. I have never even seen the inside of the gatefold!
The cover is best described as near mint (NM). The discs themselves are also NM. I cannot fault anything of this double album in any way at all. This is like brand new.
Pressed in Sweden in 2008 on the dandelion label. A strictly limited edition of just 100 copies on black vinyl. Each of the 4 sides holds a different recording session. from the years 2006 - 2007 Dave Gilmour takes us on a trip down memory lane. From early classics such as "Astronomy Domine" through "Echoes" and onto some solo works and "Comfortably Numb". This is classic guitar from the maestro. Sides 1, 2 and 4 are over 24 minutes long. Side 3 is well in excess of 20 minutes long. Great stuff!!
So, a very near mint limited edition copy. Still in original shrinkwrap and a cover that has never been opened! I cannot believe there is a better copy anywhere (outside of a sealed copy of course! Don't miss the chance of adding this rare double album to your Floyd collection. A must have.
