Please note: This is a brand new account because I have been commissioned to sell a large collection of records that once belonged a DJ in Santa Barbara, CA (more about him below) and the collection belongs to DodgerBob. WOW!! For sale is a gorgeous white label promo copy of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour’s 1978 self titled solo album debut complete with foil promo stamp and timing strip! This copy is in immaculate condition and would be hard to find a nicer one. TOP COPY/ARCHIVE condition. See below for details.

Sleeve: NM-

BEAUTIFUL crisp gatefold sleeve still makes that new crackling sound when opening. DJ timing strip on front and promotional foil stamp on rear. Sharp corners and opening edges...very light wear...perfectly legible spine...no seam splitting whatsoever. As with most all records in this collection, “From the collection of Bob Senn” has been stamped on upper right hand corner of the rear.

Disc: NM

GORGEOUS disc retains all of it’s original glossy sheen. Only the faintest superficial wispy sleeve removal traces visible when tilted under bright light. No scratches or scuffs whatsoever. Top copy.

Labels: NM

PERFECT white promo labels have no spindle traces or evidence of play. No unwanted writing or marks.

This copy is from the collection of Bob Senn - a renowned Santa Barbara, California DJ and program director for KTMS FM “The Rock on the Coast”. When Mr. Senn passed, his collection was acquired by my friend who has commissioned me to help sell them. There are thousands of records in the collection, almost all promotional copies in mint or close to mint condition.

Grading System:

SS (Still Sealed)

Unopened records, still in original shrink wrap. In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e. evidence of mildew or bent corners, etc.)

M (Mint)

The record and sleeve are in perfect, original condition. The record may have been played but will have no evidence of deterioration. (I will only use this grade on SEALED records that appear to be Mint as I believe any non-new, opened record cannot be truly called MINT.

NM (Near Mint)

A nearly perfect record. Any visible defects are of the type that "disappear" when the record is tilted under a strong light and they should not affect play. Sleeves in near mint condition will have no obvious signs of wear. Practically imperceptible ring wear may be allowed but no creases, seam-splits, or other easily detected flaws will be present.

EX (Excellent)

A very clean record. Near mint except for slight, superficial signs of wear. Sleeves in this condition may have marginal defects, but will not have significant creases or splits.

VG+ (Very Good Plus)

A well-cared-for record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but should not be split.

VG (Very Good)

A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy.

G (Good)

A well-worn record that is still playable. Good does not necessarily mean "bad" but a record in this condition will have audible distractions and may have visible groove wear. Sleeves may have all manner of defects, but are still intact.

FA (Fair) and P (Poor)

These grades are for beat-up records. I will only sell records in these grades if they are extremely rare and sought-after.
