Description

This is "Single Three" by David Kilgour - an ultra rare lathe-cut 7" single with artwork/lettering handdone by Kilgour himself. This features the tracks "My Sky", "Instrumental 1" and "Instrumental 2". This is #14 of only 50(!!!) copies. I bought this upon release and it sold out instantly from the few distributors that managed to get a few copies at the time. If memory serves correctly this came out sometime around 1994 or so. Excellent home recordings from this legendary musician formerly of the Clean, Great Unwashed, etc. I only played this twice so it is in like new condition. However, keep in mind that this is a lathe cut disc and is not audiophile black 180gm vinyl!!! These singles were issued just in flimsy plastic 'sleeves' and they were very tight to the vinyl - on this copy the flimsy plastic is split about 1/2 way on one side. Hard to be avoided and this is how I received it new - the disc barely fits to the plastic cover. Thankfully on this disc Kilgour wrote only on the disc itself - not the plastic cover. On the other single I am auctioning he wrote on both the disc and the plastic cover - this cover is not split and for whatever reason seems a bit wider then the cover on this single?

Beyond rare - how often are you going to come across these in your life? Only 50 of them out there!
