DAVID MURRAY QUARTET - Last of the Hipman (Vinyl LP)

This is a compelling live recording of the David Murray Quartet, featuring Lawrence "Butch" Morris. Recorded in concert at Rouen, France, on January 30, 1978, this release was produced for the Italian Red Record label (VPA 129) and includes the Japanese distribution insert (DIW-1093). The performance captures a pivotal moment in the late 70s avant-garde jazz scene, mixed at Studio 67 in Bologna.
