AUTOGRAPHED BY DAVID - DAVID PEEL & THE LOWER EAST SIDE - SANTA CLAUS ROOFTOP JUNKIE ORIGINAL VINYL 33 1/3 RPM RECORD ALBUM (Orange Records Ltd., 1974) ~ USED; GOOD TO VERY GOOD CONDITION (The cover of the album shows some wear; David Peel's album cover were pretty much handmade with masking tape, etc. The vinyl album is in VERY GOOD condition; it was played only twice, perhaps 3 times.) ~ FREE SHIPPING The late David Peel (with his Lower East Side band) was a legendary New York City "street band" singer who started being noticed in the late 1960's and then was "rediscovered" by John Lennon in 1971 (Peel was even name-checked in Lennon's song, "New York City," and Peel and his band appeared with John & Yoko at various live performances in the early years of the 70's. Santa Claus Rooftop Junkie is Peel's 4th studio album and makes a Beatles references in one of the songs (as Peel had been apt to do). David Peel passed away on April 6, 2017, and this Peel-autographed album makes it a bit more valuable to own. The autograph was written in blue ballpoint ink by David Peel (please check the photos). It is an original vinyl album that I had bought in the 70's at a Tower Records store in Greenwich Village, NY. It has been played three times at the most.
