Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "Holiday for Strings and Other Favorites" - by David Rose on the RCA Record label (LPT-1011), in beautiful original High Fidelity sound, issued in 1954.
CONDITION: JACKET - EX(Jacket has issues in the form of corner/edge wear, small split at bottom opening and 6" split at top opening and light ring/rub wear on its white back cover; there is a very small sticker tear top right corner - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - Near Mint(Vinyl looks new and glows with vitality; there are some very light paper scuffs - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Rare and beautifully presented original 1954 mono copy of this fine "Holiday for Strings and Other Favorites" record; back cover features extensive liner notes, both biographical and discographical; front cover is one of the most famous whimsical designs on record. If you enjoy sophisticated orchestral string music beautifully performed, then please don't miss this one - a great record at a fair price.

OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
