In 2011 Glasgow based artist David Shrigley collaborated with long-time friends Thee Oh Sees for Editions Fieber on an unique piece of art. 'Shrigley Forced To Speak With Others' features 4 exclusive tracks recorded by both Shrigley and the San Franciscan band pressed onto 2 coloured vinyl 7"s and housed in a heavyweight gatefold sleeve hand-illustrated by David Shrigley. This edition was pressed up in a 200 run but every record featured hand-drawn covers by the artist and thus each edition varies and is unique.

David Shrigley's contribution features his collaboration with fellow Glasgow artist Martin Young. 'The Tree' features Shrigley singing, through effects and electronic manipulation, a suitably surreal tale over a warped lounge-core backing. 'Bang Your Dong...' has a more Ken Nordine, beat-poetry style, with Shrigley reading an abstract if slightly prurient tale over Martin Young's exotica from the jungle. Thee Oh Sees contributed two new and exclusive tracks to this release. 'Ugly Man' is a mid-pieced cartooned moody peon to ugliness and outsiderism. 'Girls Who Smile' on the other hand sees Thee Oh Sees at their strongest yet, with a primal beat nailed down by Kinksy guitarist and John Dwyer's distorted vocal battling against the mix.

This is your chance to own a Shrigley original and some great music to boot on a severely limited edition.
