Description
On offer is the DAVID WHITFIELD 45rpm entitled CARA MIA c/w LOVE TEARS AND KISSES released in the UK on the tri-centre DECCA label F 10327 in 1954. This was David Whitfield’s second and last UK No 1 hit reaching the top spot on 2nd Jul 1954 and staying there for 10 weeks. It sold mainly on 78rpm and most collectors of No 1 hits make do with the 78rpm. This auction is for the extremely rare 45rpm issued in 1954.
This extremely rare tri-centre 45 is in EX-/VG+ condition with nice clean vinyl and clear labels. It plays EX and comes housed in an original Decca company sleeve.
