Alexander Mikhaylovich Davydov (????????? ?????????? ???????, real name Israil Moiseevich Levenson, ??????? ????????? ????????; March 25, 1872, v.Kobelaki, Poltava, Russian Empire, modern Ukraine, - June 28, 1944, Moscow, USSR) was a Russian and Soviet opera and operetta singer (lyric/dramatic tenor), later a director, pedagogue and memoirist. In 1924 he was designated the Meritorious Artist of the Republic.
