On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Davy Graham called 'Folk, Blues & Beyond' and is a MONO UK 1964 1st pressing on the 1st Press MONO 'Unboxed' Decca label!!!! This item is being relisted due to a non-paying bidder. THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS THE 1964 UK 1ST MONO PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS MONO DECCA LABEL, 1A/1A 1ST PRESS MATRIXES, A 1ST PRESS 'HANDLING/PLAYING' INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS 'CLOUT & BAKER' LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st MONO pressing from 1964 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The Cat. No is LK 4649 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Red Decca label (see picture) and is a 1964 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Davy Graham at his best!!!! Any fan of Davy Graham, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and under normal room lighting it looks like a VERY high standard of vinyl indeed!!!! However under a 100 watt bulb you can see a few small hairlines, a few small surface marks and a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is EVEN BETTER than the visual!!!! It plays with only the VERY occassional click/pop (VERY few), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The music is CRYSTAL clear with NO distortion and the only thing I did notice was a MEGA low level slightest touch of background sound on the occassional gap (though many gaps are SILENT) and on the run on grooves. There is NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade visually Very Good (Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - with the playing grade more like Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS RECORD REALLY DOES PLAY BRILLIANTLY!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Laminated 'Clout & Baker' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), VERY shiny unglazed laminate and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and only VERY slight yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
