Description
DAVY GRAHAM – THE HOLLY KALEIDOSCOPE 1st UK press STEREO vinyl LP. DECCA SKL 5056. 1970
Difficult to believe this fabulous and very rare folk / psyche classic was released 50 years ago. Incredible condition - it looks and sounds beautiful.
VINYL: EX+ / M-
In pristine, shiny condition with no visible marks. Perfectly flat.
No skips or sticks when test played. Full, deep, clear and clean sound with absolutely no distortion. Only four or five very tiny clicks throughout the whole record - otherwise no discernible surface noise. Sounds like it has been played only a few times.
Matrix numbers: ZAL 9853 P-1W / ZAL 9854 P-1W (1st pressing)
LABELS: M-
Original blue ‘boxed Decca’ labels.
Perfectly clean. No marks or writing, just a few spindle marks.
SLEEVE: EX
Perfectly structurally sound.
Front ‘Clarifoil’ laminated flipback sleeve, with lamination intact.
Spine intact and perfectly legible.
There is a tracklisting overlay pasted onto the back of the sleeve by the record company and a corner of it has come away and been lost (see photo).
Previous owner’s name in pencil to top right, but I’m not risking trying to rub it out (again see photo)!
No spotting or foxing – just a few light marks and a bit of age discoloration.
INNER SLEEVE: EX / EX-
Original poly-lined inner sleeve. A few creases in it and a bit of age discoloration but structurally sound.
THIS ITEM WILL BE SENT TO YOU IN A STRONG CARD MAILER ENVELOPE WITH STIFF REINFORCED CARDBOARD INSERTS TO FULLY PROTECT IT
