These records are some of many from my late Fathers' collection.
He was very meticulous as to who was allowed to play, or even handle these LP's!
Occasionally, he would listen to them on a hi-end audio system.
It comprised of a Garrard 301 turntable, McIntosh amplifier and a pair of 'bespoke' KEF Concerto speakers, in a (specially commissioned) soundproofed room which we called, 'His Chamber'.
As a child, I was never allowed into this 'Chamber' unless I was invited!
As I got older, I would receive the 'invite' and together we would enjoy and discuss their performances.
In the mid 60's, my father bought a AKAI reel-to-reel recorder and copied most of his LP's to tape.
I still have those tapes:-)
I understand the importance of grading Vinyl correctly.
Therefore, I use the 'Rare Record Collectors Grading System'
