ITEM: Original US First Pressing ( Stampers 1019-A-RE 1 / 1019-B-RE 1). De La Soul's Debut Album, "3 Feet And Rising", recorded in 1989 on the Tommy Boy Records label, catalog number TBLP-1019.
COMMENTS/CONDITION: This LP came from a private collection and is in excellent condition. The record was visually graded, and was not test played. Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.
Both labels are in nice, clean condition with no peeling edges, writing, or stains. The center hole is perfectly round and shows no signs of repeated playing.
Inner sleeve is the Original studio illustrated paper sleeve. It is in very good condition with no folded corners or creases. There is very light ring wear and a small 2 inch split in the center of the bottom seam.
Factory shrink wrap is still snug with no rips, tears, or missing pieces. There is a retail price sticker, and a very rare Tommy Boy Hype sticker promoting the release of this debut album still attached.
The cover is in excellent condition, still protected by the original factory shrink wrap (opened). Colors and graphics are crisp and bright with no fading. This is NOT a cut-out - there are NO drill holes, notches, or clipped corners. Cover is solid with no split seams, bent corners, creases, or writing. One corner tip on the opening edge that is nor covered by the cellophane has minor shelf wear.
