Description
Very rare, possibly one-of-a-kind 1960 12-INCH REFERENCE RECORDING ACETATE from NBC (NATIONAL BROADCASTING CO., INC) featuring, on one side, what appears to be the audio of a 9-MINUTE duet performance by DEAN MARTIN and FRANK SINATRA performing a melody of their hits in front of a live studio audience, complete with orchestra, and, on the other side, 4 commercial spots narrated by actor SKIP HOMEIER, including 2 identical spots (each about 16 seconds in length) plugging his series, DAN RAVEN, the BRIAN KEITH starrer, THE WESTERNER, the BELL TELPHONE HOUR (IN COLOR!), and MICHAEL SHAYNE, which stars RICHARD DENNING. The other 2 identical spots (10 seconds each) feature Homeier plugging just DAN RAVEN. The Dino/Sinatra melody, which likely came from the soundtrack to a 1960 NBC-TV variety special starring and hosted by DEAN MARTIN (with FRANK SINATRA as one of his special guests), features such tunes as "I'll Never Smile Again," "Three Coins in the Fountain," "Young at Heart," "C'est Manifique," "I Love Paris," "Night and Day," "South of the Border," "The Tender Trap," "Easy Does It," "Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered," "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Take a Chance on Love," "Here I Go Again," "Love and Marriage," "Makin' Whoopee," "All of Me," "Life Is A Beautiful Thing," "Birth of the Blues," and "What a Swell Party." (There are additional songs.) Check out those cool NBC label logos!! Gorgeous VG+ condition! Some light surface noise in spots.

(NM) NEAR MINT: Almost perfect, possibly no more than a few MINOR scuffs, wrinkles or wear.
(EXCELLENT/VG++) Less quality than Near Mint, but still in beautiful condition.
(VG+) Very Good+. Some scratches or scuffs, some surface markings, some wear, etc. Nice overall.
(VG) Very Good. Too many scratches, scuffs, or wear for VG+, but still in okay condition.
(VG-) Very Good-. Lots of wear (scratches, etc.). Starter copy.
(G) Good. Wrecked. Excessive wear.
(P) Poor. Just what it says.
