Death In June arose in June 1980 from the ashes of classic 77 British punk band Crisis. Guitar player Douglas Pearce & bassist Tony Wakerford were joined by drummer Patrick Leagas. Douglas P. is the solo member of DIJ since 1986.. Their music started in the postpunk area & later evolved towards a mixture of accoustic ballads & synth-wave music.DIJ are often credited as the fore fathers of the so called "Apocalyptic Folk" or "Neofolk".... Originally released in 1983 with a glossy cover. This repress was issued later in the 80s with a dull finished cover. On both releases"OI THE AVANT GARDE!!!" is scratched between the run out groove. Probably there exists yet another issues with a same cover,but without scratched messages on vinyl. Made in France Pressed at MPO Averton.
Vinyl in Perfect conditions,probably plays once or twice or unplayed... No scratched on runout groove!!. Cover have a minor damage on a corners.Little used on top/bottom edges... No cut,tears,wears or write... Nice copy!!
