For the metalheads out there, this limited edition WHITE LP of Death's 1995 classic album "SYMBOLIC" is a Death Metal must-have. I've listened to this album since my teen years, having heard it on everything from Cassette Tape to CD to mp3 and I will tell you what you already know - nothing has sounded better than the prime listening experience of Vinyl Record. The discs are in near mint condition and have barely ever been played. While it may not be a 1995 pressing - the trade off is that there are hardly any original pressings of albums from decades ago that still sound perfect and pristine from all the years of wear, they'll tend to contain clicks and pops - not to mention the fact that this was remastered, and while remasters have sometimes had a bad reputation because a lot of them tend to be simply louder, over-compressed popularity cash grab rush jobs (losing the dynamics of the original, if not worse), here - we have the exact opposite. From everything I read and the interviews I watched - this remaster was an attention-to-detail personal project of famed Death Metal producer Jim Morris - that makes it indeed an improvement in every possible way (Death - Human qualifies as well for all the same reasons). You won't find too many instances like this - where the reissue isn't done by some random mastering technician hired by the Record Company, but is done by THE ORIGINAL PRODUCER done at the original studio with the original master tapes; at Morrisound (the "Abbey Road Studios" of Death Metal, so to speak), where the Artist (who has passed away) was a personal friend of the producer and so it was an important, personal project and a personal matter to the producer that the new issue be done perfectly as possible; in memoriam to Chuck Schuldiner's life's work and to commemorate one of the biggest, most important releases of the genre. It wasn't an unnecessary remix and so isn't a disconcerting big change of the overall sound of the album we all know and love and are used to. To use a modern-day analogy it's like the 95 issue was in 720 and the 2014 issue is in 1080 resolution. Everything the same just sounds more crisp and clear, clearer dynamics/no more buried elements (bass guitar is now always present not just during transients, solos and leads have more presence, drum/cymbal hits and parts that were a little buried before are clearly heard now). The 12" LP has a record grading of near mint and a sleeve grading of excellent. Composer Chuck Schuldiner (RIP) and producer Jim Morris created a masterpiece that is a must-have for your Death Metal Vinyl LP collection.

Don't miss out on the chance to own this gem every Extreme Metal fan MUST HAVE in their collection!!
