Debussy's ballet, La Boite a Joujoux, and the Printemps symphonic suite, conducted by Ernest Ansermet on London stereo Blueback LP CS 6079. As usual, this is a UK Decca-pressed copy, the exact same pressing as the UK copies on the Decca label. Unbelievable sound on this recording, among the best of all these bluebacks. This copy sounds just gorgeous. The disc is in nearly immaculate condition, with perhaps a tiny bit of wear that is only noticeable at the very start of each side, where there is the faintest tickle of very light crackle for just a short few seconds. Not at all overpowering or even annoying. The rest of the record plays almost perfectly with all the quiet parts (and there are many) completely undisturbed and clear as a bell. Truly a beautiful listen. The cover is fully intact but has some water damage along the bottom. See photos. Otherwise it is in great shape, with no dogears, no seam splits, and lovely shine. There is also a cutout hole at the top right. Overall a delightfully good copy. Sounds incredible.
