DECAPITATED - Blood Mantra LP (clear vinyl with green/red splatters)
The battered by fate & in the same nevertheless tour-joyfully guys from DECAPITATED present their 6th studio album with ''Blood Mantra''.
The fan base of the 4 polish maniacs had to wait a long time for the successor to ''Carnival Is Forever'',
which is already dated from the year 2011.
''Blood Mantra'' with its 9 tracks, pushes extremely and comes up with sophisticatedly composed and played,
reef-like wrecking balls, like as if VADER plays here together with MESHUGGAH and GOJIRA.
Shred master Vogg elicits his guitar fantastic staccato riffs and dissonant sounding harmonies, while Fronter Rasta barks his commands into the ruthlessly hammering death metal machinery that was produced extremely powerfully and coherently.
A harmonious artwork stylishly rounds off the 2014s work by the beheaded.
''Blood Mantra'' is a handsome piece of brute, powerful as melodic & demanding.
The 2019's re-edition on limited vinyl comes in clear wax with green/red splatters in gatefold cover & including a bonustrack.
