RAFAEL KUBELIK conducting THE VIENNA PHILHARMONIC – DVORAK Symphony No. 5 in E Minor “From The New World” ORIG Decca LP / SXL 2005 (UK, Stereo, 1958)
Happy to present this first unboxed wide band UK edition.

Matrices: ZAL-3380-4E / ZAL-3381-4E
The thin, fragile double-flipback front laminated sleeve is in VG (Very Good) condition. Some (not many) small creases, 2 patches of laminate lift to the front bottom edge, ring impression/slight age toning to the rear, general signs of handling. NO splits, tears, writing, spine intact.
The black WB labels are fine, no writing, stains, residue. Not too much spindle evidence – maybe 2 or 3 per side.
The vinyl is also in solid VG (Very Good) condition. Some dust patches. My VGs are NOT TRASHED! Several light scuff lines, several hairlines and some light fine marks. IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays well. There are several instances of light ticks, some light clicks here and there and one passage of more noticeable pops BUT no distortion, loss of clarity or lack of definition. Also NO sticks/repeats or jumps.
Not a mint example but very good for its 53 years. No reserve.

I do not use any more than ONE plus or minus between grades. After all, WHAT ON EARTH DOES VG+++++ MEAN? What is NM+? Or EX---? These are just some of the ridiculous gradings I’ve encountered on eBay. I am very careful using the EX (Excellent) grade. Excellent, by dictionary definition means ‘extremely good’ NOT ‘marked and slightly beat up with wear’!
