BIZET ‘CARMEN’ AND ‘L’ARLESIENNE SUITES’ 1958 FIRST PRESSING SXL 2037 WIDE BAND DEEP GROOVE IN LAMINATED FLIPBACK (BLUE BORDERED) SLEEVE


Sleeve Condition: Almost Near Mint, un-damaged and in really lovely condition, free from any kind of marking, stickers, writing, creasing or laminate lifting and with only the faintest traces of wear to corners.   The original Decca inner sleeve is in similar condition; white, uncreased and free from marking, grubbiness or wear.


Record Condition: Ex++:  looks Near Mint and with one exception, a small, almost imperceptible mark on Side 2 which crosses the final two tracks on that side.  The record looks and plays Ex++ to Near Mint up to there.  Unfortunately, there are 14 obvious clicks as it plays through one of the quietest passages in the whole record, then a couple more a few revolutions further which are less obvious.   A shame, but there it is; an almost near-perfect record but for this one defect.


I use Record Collector Price Guide criteria to grade all my records.  I would encourage potential bidders to be familiar with this before bidding.
