DECCA WIDE BAND GROOVE SXL 2060 ED1

This is a rare Decca first pressing (or ED1) of this performance.  The label on the disc has a wide silver band just above the centre and a circular groove in the vinyl approx 1cm in from the edge. 

 On the rim of the label at 10.00 o’clock are printed the words “ORIGINAL RECORDING BY”.

The outer sleeve is the original: lightweight cardboard, flip-back, laminated on the front. 

Disc and outer sleeve are both made in England.  The inner sleeve is period Decca ffss printed paper with polythene liner.

record has a "deep groove" (an indent in the label about 1/2-inch from the edge of the label, which on SOME labels is associated with very early or first pressings).
