DECCA SXL 2077 Sibelius: Violin Concerto in D RICCI / FJELDSTAD WBg Ed.1. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
1958 - 2E/1K matrix
Cover - flipback blue/black back cover made in England.
Front- in great condition no rips/ tears or pen, full laminate in tact with some lifting on top right and bottom right corners (see pics).
Rear- in great shape no marks, rips, tears or pen.
Blue/ black. Some minor edge wear commensurate with age.
Vinyl- wide band original recording by.
Full gloss sheen, a couple of wispy lines (which do not affect play)
Labels in ex condition, FFSS poly lined inner in great condition some age foxing,
Playback- is a very good listen, some minimal light surface/static in quieter moments, a couple of pops here and there, ( does not detract from what is generally a very good listen) no skips no jumps.
This record could benefit from a professional clean? Not mint but really is in super condition and a splendid listen! for this rarity from 1958.! very low start for this terrific lp!
