DECCA SXL 2196 Mozart PETER MAAG LSO Notturno WB ED1 UK 1960 1st STEREO WBG MINT-
THIS IS HIGHLY UNUSUAL. WHILE OTHERS WILL TELL YOU THEY HAVE A 1E/1E, I CAN TELL YOU HOW EARLY THE STAMPER REALLY IS AND WHAT VERSION OF THE LACQUER AND STAMPER WERE USED TO MAKE THIS PRESSING.
THAT OUGHT TO BE PROVIDED BY EVERYONE. THEY CAN READ THE DEAD WAX INFORMATION JUST AS EASILY AS I CAN.
SO HERE YOU HAVE A TRUE RARITY. AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE AND VERY EARLY MATRICES, LACQUERS AND STAMPERS USED TO MAKE THIS LP.
THAT OUGHT TO DEMAND SOME ATTENTION.
Hello! I provide all the data on the dead wax that really tells you which stamper was used, how close to the early run this LP actually is.
You’ll get better sound from my disks. They’ve been handled like babies.
Please give these are try. Some, like this one, are very difficult to find.
The condition here is Really unusual.

I AM NOT KIDDING. IF YOU ONLY CHECKED THE NUMBERS FOR THE RECORD (AS MOST SELLERS DO) YOU WOULD NOT REALIZE HOW EARLY THESE PRESSINGS ARE. THE MOTHER AND STAMPER ARE IN THE DEAD WAX.

SIDE 2: ZAL-4691-2E (LOOKS LIKE 2 OVER 1). MATRIX= 2. MOTHER=1. STAMPER= C OR 3.
IF YOU WANT A RARE AND REALLY EARLY COPY, THIS IS IT! THE SOUND IS GREAT!
The separation of the four orchestras in the Notturno is one of early stereo’s real successes. You can really hear the spatial difference and hear the echo effects. The LPRL called this a 3* Demo disk (an early “HP list”).
THIS IS ONE OF PETER MAAG’S MOST DESIRABLE PERFORMANCES.
UK ED1 Wide Band Grooved ORIGINAL RECORDING BY, Made in England. Pressing is extremely clean in Mint- condition; no visible signs of use at spindle hole.
Plays with almost no surface noise.
Scalloped flip-back Jacket in Like New condition; no pieces of flip-back missing and no splits on any edges.

Vinyl is MINT- with a few very light fingernail marks. THESE DO NOT SOUND!
Side 1: two extremely light fingernail marks in band one. One light nail mark in band two. Otherwise, shiny surface like a nearly new LP. No spindle marks or scratches.
Side 2: three small and light fingernail marks in band 1. Otherwise, new and shiny. No scuffing and spots appear. No spindle wear.
Nothing serious, certainly no scratches you can feel, only light marks.
Cover is Really very close to new. Excellent+. Only slight dirt marks near bottom of cover. Bottom right corner. Rear has slight amount of dirt along scalloped edges. No tears. No price tag on rear. No creases.
Original blue typeface Decca record sleeve is included, as well as a plain sleeve.
