DECCA SXL 2196 - Mozart - Serenata Notturna, etc. - Maag, LSO
Condition vinyl:
NM-
This LP has been examined carefully under bright halogen light: the vinyl is in very nice condition with only minimal signs of use that are hardly worth mentioning. There is a slight warp but that doesn't pose any problems if you use a record clamp or something similar and I mention this for completeness sake only. A wideband that has been well cared for!
Condition cover:
VG+/VG
The sleeve is in quite nice condition with a brownish spot on the lower right corner of the back, very light age yellowing, one slightly creased corner top left and a few very light creases in the laminate. There are no major faults like splits or writing and the overall impression is still quite fine. Original innersleeve included, condition: VG+

This is most beautiful Mozart playing in vintage Decca sound. One of the cornerstones of any serious SXL collection. The recording was made in December 1959 in the famous Kingsway Hall in London, the great Kenneth Wilkinson being the engineer. First label for this issue and first lacquers and mothers on both sides.

All records will be cleaned on a VPI HW-17 record cleaning machine before dispatch Grading: NM (near mint) is my highest grade for a non-sealed record. Mint is reserved for sealed copies.
