  DECCA SXL 2275 - Bizet - Symphony, Jeux d'Enfants, etc. - Ansermet, OSR

 Condition vinyl:
NM-/NM
The vinyl is in great condition. Even when viewed under very bright light there are hardly any signs of use to be seen. There are no scratches, scuffs, etc. and the vinyl shows a fine gloss. A beautiful copy!
 Condition cover:
 VG
The flipback sleeve has some rather distinct age discolouration at the spine and some laminate lifting in the same region. Apart from that, the sleeve is quite clean and firm. There are no splits, creases, stickers or writing and the spine is clearly readable.
 Pressing:
UK pressing - grooved wide band label, "ORIGINAL RECORDING BY" at 10 o'clock (ED1) - 2E-1-C/1L-2-N - flipback sleeve What else:
This is another one of those great Ansermets, that show the Swiss maestro at his best. I cannot imagine a better combination of interpretation and sound in this wonderful French music. The sound on this one certainly ranks among the best Ansermet SXLs! Recorded in October 1960 in the Victoria Hall, Geneva. This copy is a very early pressing with the first label and a flipback sleeve.
NM (near mint) is my highest grade for a non-sealed record - mint is reserved for sealed copies.
