Description

 

DECCA SXL 6089 W/B+G – SCHUBERT No 9 / KERTESZ & VPO 

Decca stereo SXL 6089 wide-band & groove label with ’original recording’ at 11 o’clock.  Schubert’s Symphony No. 9 in C  “The Great” played by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Istvan Kertesz.

Disc is in excellent condition.  Original Decca ‘ffss’ inner fully intact and in very good condition with just slight age-discolouration towards the edges.  Laminated flip-back cover is intact but it has a few minor creases and there is marking on the rear where an adhesive label has been removed.
