Hello every one,
I'm selling 31 Decca classical records of which 26 are SXL, 3 are SXDL, one LXT [ a double ] and the other is a JB. Of the 26 SXL series 14 are Wide Band. Of the 12 Narrow Bands 8 were only pressed in  NB, only the remaining 4 are the NB later pressings of the
 WB. In my descriptions the labels are initialed  :  Wide Band Grooved - WBG, Wide Band - WB, Narrow Band - NB.  Made in England - M in E, Original Recording By - OR.    Sleeve is graded first and disc second.
 The titles and condition are listed as follows :-

Mehta      SXL    6379  Strauss            M in E            WB           Silent background.                   A few very light, fine, whispy sleeve removal lines.                            Sleeve - A little ring wear on the rear and a touch of  light edge browning             EXC - /  EXC -
Maazel    SXL    6058   Tchaikovsky    M in E            WB            Silent background           A few very light whispy sleeve removal lines and a couple of light lines.   Sleeve - A touch of darkening on the rear edges.                                                    EXC - /  EXC -
Solti         SXL    2114    Tchaikovsky   OR                 WBG    Very light rustle on occasion and a very occasional tic. 4 light short scratches on one side and just some poly inner print on the other.  Sleeve - Blue flipback with no laminate damage.  EXC - /  VG +
Isserstedt SXL    6329    Beethoven     M in E            WBG    Nice quiet background with just an occasional touch of the lightest rustle.  2 or 3 light lines per side and whispy sleeve removal lines.  Sleeve has signs of handling on the rear but sound. VG + / EXC - -
Argenta    SXL    2020    Espana          OR                 WBG    Side 1 - A minute with 1 light click per revolution and just occasional light rustle. Side 2 - Only very occasional light rustle. Overall, a good play and very quiet really barring the imperfections mentioned.
Side 1 - Some light fine light lines. 2 cm scratch which gives the clicks and one 2 cm scuff / scratch that gives very little interference.  Side 2 - Some light fine lines that give a lovely play with almost no unwanted background noise. A really quiet play.. This recording
 sells for hundreds in fine order and even in the condition for this record  it still is a great listen. Sleeve - One tear on the front but the quality of the photo is so much better than with many others. The rear has a 2" x 2" piece of cellophane missing and some wear
 around the edges but it's not too bad. Matrix Nos  4E & 5E   VG -  /  VG  Without the visual and the clicks on side 1 the audio is very, very good.
Solti       SXL  6111        Bartok            M in E             WB      Lovely quiet background.  Just 2 or 3 short light lines on each side.   Sleeve - Only a little sign of handling and a touch of ring wear on the rear.                                                                          EXC - / EXC - -
Kertesz  SXL  6257       Dvorak            M in E             WBG  Near silent background.  Side 1 2 very fine, faint lines. Ansermet                          LXT 5501-2  Tchaikovsky  Double LP      Near silent play with only a very occasional hint of light rustle.  Sides 1&2 have just a couple of fine lines. Otherwise just very minor imperfections. Great play. Sleeve - Wear and inner page loose

A good opportunity to pick up a lovely little collection of classic Decca records.  I'm downsizing and just haven't the time to list individually hence the job lot.                                                                                     
The discs have been cleaned on my Pristine Vinyl ViVac RCM. Less well known than many but nevertheless a very expensive and a very effective cleaner. I have play tested the records in full and visual inspection under a strong light. On an odd occasion a silent
 play may have a suggestion of rustle on the run-in and first 3 or 4 seconds. All inner sleeves in VG + to excellent, without tears or writing and many are original.
The near mint described records would be listed as Mint by many but I would not list a record as mint if it hadn't been played or, indeed, it was sealed.
I offer a money back guarantee if the records are not described accurately but I do tend to be very cautious when describing  records as I would hate for a buyer to be disappointed.
 Before posting they will be bubble wrapped, reinforced and dispatched in a strong box. Personal collection is an option.
