Description

Rare Decca UK stereo ffss LP, SXL 2164, 5D/7D matrix suffixes, 'Original Recording By...' on label rim, Ravel, Daphnis et Chloé, complete ballet, LSO conducted by Pierre MONTEUX with the Chorus of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.?

Front-laminated, flip back sleeve has ringwear, edge and corner wear and creases. There is some grubbiness to the back, and tape residue over one flipback corner, plus old library stamps and some writing at the top, all as shown in picture. Overall, the sleeve grades VG-.

Vinyl label side 1 has catalogue numbers written in white ink. There is a small scuff at the start of side 1, which does cause some noticeable clicks, and there is light background crackle throughout this side, but not too obtrusive. There are also what look like a few residue marks on this side, but they seem not to affect audio. Side 2 has some light hairlines and a few more obvious marks, and this side also has light background crackle, and there are some clicks at the start of this side that dissipate as the side plays on. The overall grade for vinyl is VG to VG plus.
