Description

Original UK ED1 ('Original Recording By...' on label rim) Decca ffss stereophonic double LP set SXL 2022-3 on the wide band, grooved label, Lehar's 'The Merry Widow', Peter Klein, Karl Donch, Emmy Loose, Waldemar Kmentt, Hilde Gueden, Per Grunden with the Vienna State Opera Chorus and Orchestra conducted by Robert Stolz.
Top-loading gatefold sleeve has edge chipping and some edge laminate loss back and front, some edge creases, corner and edge wear and some ringwear, along with old price stickers on the back. 8-page booklet is intact and the inside is very presentable, a little age browning, very minor. Overall grade for sleeve is VG-.
Both records play extremely well, superb stereo separation and very strong detail, quality audio throughout with a few light clicks here and there; there are a few very light lines not affecting audio, two on side 1, one on the last band of side 2, a couple of very light skating lines on side 3 and one very small and light line on band 2 of side 4. Visual grade for records is EX-, but playgrade is EX+, so overall grade is EX.
