Artist: The DECEPTIONS
Titles: “People” / “Of All The Hearts”
Label: BROOKS (Hampton, Virginia). Label is blue with silver text. Catalog number is BR-323.
Year: early 70s (est.)
Condition: Condition of "People" is beautiful NM- with 100% of original gloss. Has been played a very small number of times, perhaps once or twice, and handled with care. Fidelity is superb.
The ballad side "Of All The Hearts" would grade similarly except for a very small mark that produces perhaps a half dozen audible ticks in the first 15 seconds, then plays cleanly throughout the remainder.
Labels are clean. A very fine copy of a scarce and excellent private label single from the Hampton/Norfolk area of Virginia.
