DEENA WEBSTER - TUESDAY'S CHILD
Increasingly rare and highly sought after 1968 UK 1st pressing, little played with superb sound quality
Year/Label : 1968 UK PARLOPHONE Label number : PMC 7052 Matrix numbers : XEX 683 - 1, XEX 684 - 1 Stampers : 1 G / 1 GNear Mint (NM) condition vinyl - completely flat, weighty and retaining it's original jet black lacquered sheen and in daylight comes across as perfect and completely unmarked. Even with close inspection under a bright light the condition of the vinyl is difficult to fault : perhaps a couple of faintest of faint paper scuffs on each side, if that - exquisite! The labels are in excellent plus condition with just a couple of small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on the side 2 label. The "K", "J", and "T" tax embossed tax codes are plain to see on the side 2 label. Clearly this is a record that has been only very sparingly played. Excellent (EX) condition front side only laminated Ernest J. Day outer sleeve with firm and completely unscuffed edges including a rigid spine where all spine text remains fully intact. Each corner remains a perfectly defined right angle with no rubbing at all and the reverse side flipbacks remain nicely intact. All colours, art work, photos, and text remain beautifully vibrant and with crystal clear definition. The only blemishes are a minor laminate surface crease towards the bottom left corner on the front side, a little diagonal creasing at the bottom right corner, and just a few small and light handling/storage marks on the reverse side including a very small "dink" on the reverse side opening edge both of which otherwise remain firm with no fraying. Superb near mint (NM) MONO sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, clicks, distortion or background crackle - wonderful tone and crystal clear mono reproduction throughout with Deena Webster's haunting vocals a true highlight. Every track remains a flawless listen. Comes with original very good plus condition EMI advertising inner sleeve with no side splits and barely any age discolouration - just some very minor fraying on the top edge and equally minor creasing. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A truly wonderful condition copy of this 1968 UK 1st press highly sought after Deena Webster gem, with the little played vinyl and superb MONO sound quality being true highlights.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
