Description
This is the original UK LP by DEEP PURPLE, FIREBALL, 1971 Stereo 1st Press on the HARVEST label SHVL 793
With "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD" label rim credits and "MADE IN GT BRITAIN" inner rim credits, bottom centre
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- SHVL 793 A-2U
Side 2:- SHVL 793 B-3U
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 3 / RR
Side 2:- 2 / RL
Additionally on Side 1 directly after the matrix number is hand scribed 'PEK'
The original 1971 UK 1st issue textured Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold cover is in EX condition. The spine is clean and perfectly readable. The beautiful cover maintains all it's original bright vibrant colour, their are no seam splits, no unwanted writing. Their is wear to the spine and to the top and bottom corners, the bottom being the most wear. On the left hand edge their are small creases from top to bottom. Bare in mind this is one of the most differcult covers to find in nice condition, so prone to major wear in every area of the cover. Top right and bottom right corners, the right hand edge are a lot better (see pictures), the front panel does NOT have any ring wear, the back has a hint of ring wear, top centre, very faint. Inside is lovely, no wear fresh and clean.
The beautiful heavy weight vinyl is in EX+++ condition !. The vinyl is gleams with all its original shine and lustre!. The vinyl plays EX+++ playing with superb clarity, playing with superb depth and warmth!. A fantastic quality 1st Pressing!.
The labels are in EX+++ condition, beautifully clean and fresh, no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear.
The original 1971 UK 1st issue EMI HAREVST polythene lined inner sleeve advertising other EMI HARVEST ALBUMS is in EX+ condition, clean, no seam splits, no unwanted writing.
The original 1971 UK 1st issue "FIREBALL" Lyric / Insert is in EX+++ condition, made from thick cartridge paper, supreme quality, no rips, nice and clean.
