DEEP PURPLE Purple Passages Warner Bros. 2LS 2644 Original 1st Pressing White Label Promo LP 1972
You're bidding on a Original 1st Pressing White Label Promotional Copy of the DEEP PURPLE compilation album  Purple Passages issued on Warner Brothers Records in 1972. This 2 record set featured tracks from the first 3   LP's which featured the Mark 1 version of Deep Purple with Rod Evans on Lead Vocals and Nicky Simper on  Bass. The 3 LP's were issued on the small Tetragrammaton Label which went bankrupt in 1969. Subsequently,   all 3 LP's went out of print. Along with the best tracks from those albums, this collection includes 3 rare tracks:  Emmeretta (a 45 not issued on LP) and alternate mixes of The Bird Has Flown and Why Didn't Rosemary ?   The LP's are in Mint - condition with No Scratches or Groove Wear and play perfectly. The Cover is in VG shape  with Ring Wear and Writing in Black Marker on a cover sticker showing that this album became the property of   KCRW Radio on 9/28/72. If you love early Deep Purple and like collecting White Label Promo Copies than this LP  is for You !!                                                    Starting Bid $ 30.00
