DEEP PURPLE : "THE BOOK OF TALIESYN"

NO 'EMI BOX' ON HARVEST LABELS.

CAT.NO.SHVL 751

MATRIX NOs: A-1G + B-1G

Low starting price to ensure a sale and reflect the true market value.

As with all my sales from my own collection, I've listened to the record 1 final time prior to listing.

Condition : for a 48 year old record condition is commensurate with age.

I've researched this pressing, and I believe it falls into the second pressing category as it doesn't have the EMI logo on the record labels. 

On the run out matrix perpendicular to the SHVL 751 A and B stamps it has the following : Side 1 = 2 CL Side 2 = 1 BB with the numerals being oon the left hand side of the label and the letters stamped on the opposite side of the run out area.  

The inner sleeve also indicates a later press.

Side A : there's minor 'white noise' in the run in and between tracks, however it does not detract from the listening experience

Side B : there's a increase in white noise in the run in for about 2-3 seconds and then silence prior to the first track, In track 2 there's a couple of pops at one point, aside from that sound quality is as good as / maybe better than side 1.

Sleeve condition : Spine is good, although the album name is slightly obscured by the fold crease, which in my opinion would have happened during manufacture. There are some marks on the sleeve the worst of which I've taken included in the photos. I rate this sleeve as good condition.
