1970 Deep Purple ‘Deep Purple In Rock’ UK 1st Press Vinyl LP (Harvest SHVL 777).
Track-listing Side 1: Speed King/Blood Sucker/Child In Time Side 2: Flight Of The Rat/Into The Fire/Living Wreck/Hard Loving Man
Vinyl - has surface scratches/marks and plays with some crackle just in a couple of soft passages and between some tracks. No jumps. No spindle wear.
Sleeve - some laminate creases mainly at left-hand and top edges. Small wear on all four corners and along bottom and right-hand edge
White inner-sleeve - has the usual creases in all four corners
This original album is in a laminated gatefold sleeve. The inner gatefold has lyrics on left and five black & white photos of the individual band members on the right and text on the right. This earliest UK copy has:
- No EMI logo on labels;
- A small Ⓟ icon (left of 1970 on labels);
- One line around the EMI logo on the front sleeve; and is completed with the plain factory inner sleeve with 'Patent Nos. 1125555' text on the left and 'Made In Great Britain' text on the right on the bottom of the sleeve. The Harvest logo inner sleeve was a feature of later versions.
