SHVL 759 A-1 SHVL 759 B-2 EJ Day laminated gatefold sleeve
Superb playing copy of this non-EMI original Deep Purple classic, complete with the correct EJ Day laminated gatefold sleeve, most copies are played to death and this one is not! Superb playback. Outstanding audio.
Vinyl looks stunning! Nice and shiny and with virtually no visible superficial marks at all! Plays fantastically well with superb tone and volume, barely any background noise in the initial run in and even in between tracks, even the quiet intro to 'Lalena' is superb with hardly any background noise, the audio from the songs is superb! Plays as NEAR MINT - one of the best playing copies I've ever heard! Just two minor ticks at start of side two just as song starts, after that the rest of side two is NEAR MINT also, even the quiet 'orchestral' sections of 'April' (which notoriously suffer from background crackle) are superb with barely any background noise AT ALL! Without these two ticks and the very insignificant faint background noise, the audio would be MINT, it's that good.
Laminated gatefold sleeve is in superb condition, just has some bumping to top and bottom of spine and a slight 'kink' in the top right corner which could possibly be flattened out by the careful use of weighting heavy objects on it for a time - but I'll let the lucky winning bidder decide if they want to do that or not.
