VERY RARELY SEEN COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL LYRIC INSERT AS NEW!!!!!

NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE!!!! ONLY EVER PLAYED TWO OR THREE TIMES EVER! PLAYS AS GOOD AS NEW!!

From my personal collection! Purchased from new in 1971 and only ever played to record to tape! This has been stored in a case for all of its storagelife with the vinyl seperated from the sleeve! This is how i have always stored my records!!!! Unbeleivably rare like this! Top! Top! near mint audio! throughout!!!! 

Fireball is a hard rock album by English rock band Deep Purple, released in 1971. It was their fifth studio album, and the second with the classic Mk II lineup. It was recorded at various times between September 1970 and June 1971. It would become the first of the band's three UK #1 albums!!!!.

The hit single (Number 8 in the UK) from the album sessions was the boogie-inspired "Strange Kind of Woman", which appeared on the U.S and Japanese version of the album in place of "Demon's Eye". "Strange Kind of Woman" became a staple of the live set up until the present day, and "Fireball" has made a few appearances, mainly as encores. "Strange Kind of Woman" and "The Mule" appear on the classic 1973 live album Made in Japan, with the latter morphing into an Ian Paice drum solo!!!.

"Anyone's Daughter" was played on the 1993-1994 tours, while "Fools", "No One Came", "I'm Alone", "Demon's Eye" and "No No No" have all made periodic appearances in various tours since 1996!!!.

Apart from Ian Gillan, the rest of the band don't consider the album a classic. However, even he has said that the inclusion of "Anyone's Daughter" on the album was "A good bit of fun, but a mistake"!!!.

The original vinyl release was in a gatefold sleeve, with a generic Harvest LP-bag and a lyric-insert!

All songs written by Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice except where indicated!!!!.

The Vinyl

On visual inspection this vinyl looks absolutely superbe! This is the original heavier thicker type of vinyl with deeper grooves only found on these original 1st pressings!!! They are also more robust than later pressings which were more flimsier!!!! Only in strong light only can possibly any light whispy lines of marks be seen Please note I can't see any needle scratches at all! Cesrtainly (no) marks that are audio sounding!  I have played this through track for track as usual prior to listing at loud volume on a top system!,,,and the audio is rated at the very top, very near mint audio as good as it gets in my opinion!!! This is cristal clear and vibrant through out. This plays with no background noise or crackle at all with (no) signs of any distortion or that this has been overplayed!!!! I would class myself as highly critacle! Please look at my completed listings of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right!!!! Audio is graded at the top!!! You will find the audio quality on this vinyl hard to surpass!!!!!

Please note! I always make this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd static tick (not) consistant throughout the audio! Although i never heard any problems at all and have given my honest opinion, this is a genuine 35 year old vinyl (not a reissue) that would have originally been played on a 35 year old system!!!!

This features the original Harvest labels in superbe condition (no) marks or nasty writing with only two or three spider marks UNBELEIVABLE FOR 36 YEARS OLD! which indicates this has hardly been played and certainly not been overplayed at all (very rare for a 1st pressing) ''made in gt Britain'' text is featured (this is a UK pressing) FEATURES ''THE GRAMOPHONE CO'' AROUND THE LABEL RIMS (ONLY EARLY PRESS)

This is the original EMI \ HARVEST ADVERTISING SERPIER SLEEVE! (no) splits or tares light general creasing\staining with age! This is the original!!!!

The cover.

The condition of this cover is almost pristine and looks like new!!! Fully Textured both the inside and out! (only original 1st press) ''Garrod and Lofthouse'' gatefold cover. Lovely and glossy textured apearance (one of the best that i have seen)has the lightest  scuff\bump bottom right corner (hardly noticable unless you look for it) on the front, with hardly any storageware worth to  mention or creases to talk of and little if (no) storageware absolutely superbe throughout!!!!!! Try to find better!!!!!! normally seen with the spine badly rubbed this is superbe! So hard to keep these original covers in good condition due to the nature of their black in colour!
