This record is in near mint condition. The labels do have a few light spindle marks but by no means a large amount. There are no pen marks on the labels, but there is a blotch/mark on side 2(pics). As for the vinyl it's virtually spotless. There are no scratches visible in normal light, but there are a couple of extremely light wispy hairlines visible when viewed under very bright light. The record has a beautiful vivid shine, no scuffs or blemishes, and has obviously been really well cared for. It is in astonishing condition for its age and really is very clean indeed.
I very carefully play tested the record and it plays near perfectly. It has the most tiny fraction of a warp, which caused a hint of movement in the record arm, but this is very minor. The sound produced is stunning; it's crisp, full of distinction and has no background noise, with only the most minuscule trace in the run in. There are obviously no skips, jumps, sticks or any other musical interference. It's a quality audio experience and was an absolute treat to play test.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has wear to the edges and corners(pics), which has affect the spine and the writing along it. The worst of the wear is on the spine and bottom edge. Although this is not disastrous(there are no splits or any developing), they have lost some paintwork. The front is clean, bright with only slight fading in places and a mild ring mark. Inside the gatefold is beautiful, with no damage, and there are no pen marks, tears or scuffs anywhere on the sleeve.
The record contains its original EMI/Harvest company inner, with rounded corner which is in very good+ condition. It has no splits or major damage but does have age related discolouring. Also included is its original lyrics insert in excellent+ condition.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, within 24hrs of payment, special delivery to ensure safe swift delivery.
