DEEP PURPLE IN ROCK, ORIGINAL 1st PRESS UK HARVEST VINYL LP, NO EMI, EXCELLENT
Deep Purple in RockDeep Purple are an English rock band formed in Hertfordshire in 1968. The band has gone through many line-up changes with Ian Paice being the only original member still with the band. Deep Purple In Rock was their fourth album which was released in 1970. The line up was Ian Gillan (lead vocals), Ritchie Blackmore (guitar), Jon Lord (keyboards), Ian Paice (drums) and Roger Glover (bass).
This is the original 1970 pressing without the EMI logo and with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ rim text on the labels in superb condition with great audio!!!
Side One: Speed King; Blood Sucker; Child In Time.
Side Two: Flight Of The Rat; Into The Fire; Living Wreck; Hard Lovin’ Man.
The album is on Harvest Records, SHVL 777. Matrix side one: SHVL 777 A-2 (stamped). Matrix side two: SHVL 777 B-1 (stamped).
Released in 1970. UK pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (a few very light superficial marks can be seen under bright light that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, skips or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (a few very light superficial marks can be seen under bright light that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, skips or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (outer laminated, gatefold): excellent (a few small light laminate creases mainly at the spine edge, some very light rubbing).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
