My listening equipment is a highly revealing Roksan Xerxes/Artemiz/Shiraz turntable, JDI pre/power amplification and Castle speakers.
Played on that system this LP grades Near Mint.
As well as the A1/B1 matrices, first pressings of this double LP have the Gramophone Co. text around the edge of the label (later pressings have "EMI Records" instead). Only first pressings have highly laminated gatefold covers (later covers have a matt laminate and are nowhere near as glossy). This has the first press high laminate cover in excellent condition with just a couple of minor thumbnail creases and a few tiny nicks to the opening edges. All of these high gloss covers seem prone to a touch of discolouration which usually occurs in small patches beneath the laminate itself and is only really visible in angled light. This cover has some along the bottom left corner and is only mentioned for accuracy.
This is a superb example of one of the greatest ever live rock recordings and only first pressings (closer to the original mastertape) truly capture the huge dynamic sound.
